If you’re looking to treat yourself, this place is pure luxury. It’s set along the quieter banks of West Lake, and has peaceful gardens with lily ponds amongst classical Chinese architecture. The rooms and villas are really spacious, and some have private terraces with amazing views of the water. For a super relaxing and indulgent stay in Hangzhou, we think it’s pretty hard to beat.

This is a restored designer heritage hotel originally built in 1934 as a Republic of China–style garden villa. On-site amenities include a cozy bar, a serene tea room, and a small library reserved exclusively for guests. There are free refreshments—from teas and fruits to coffee—available in the lounge.

We stayed here last year with Jess, Kevin and Mum and had a wonderful experience. The hotel has an unbeatable location being right on the edge of West Lake, with stunning views overlooking it. The hotel is next to a small night market on the bank of the Lake which is nice for an evening stroll and it's a short walk to the city center, so everything’s super convenient. There's a Michelin-starred restaurant if you want to splurge.

苏冠德的爸妈强烈推荐这家酒店，我们去过之后也完全能理解为什么了！酒店的环境真的很美，就在西湖边上，而且在酒店里就能沿着湖边散步，太惬意了。这里还是2016年G20峰会的官方接待酒店，毛主席曾经住过这里27次，听说他还在那座塔里学过英语呢！ 如果你想找一个安静、风景好、又有历史味儿的地方，这家真的很值得一住。
Grant’s parents highly recommend staying here and after our visit, we totally understand why. The grounds are impressive, with some of the best views overlooking the West Lake and allows for a scenic lakeside stroll right on the grounds. It was the official hotel for the G20 Summit in 2016 and Chairman Mao has stayed here 27 times. If you're looking for somewhere peaceful and full of history, this is a great choice.
这是一家精品酒店，距离婚礼场地和西湖都很近。早餐出乎意料地好吃（而且价格也不贵！），工作人员也非常友好和贴心。不过，需要注意的是，酒店只有三层楼，有时候会有点吵，如果您是睡觉比较轻的人，我们建议尽量不要选择靠近街道的房间。
This is a boutique hotel located a short distance from the wedding venue and West Lake. The breakfast is surprisingly excellent (and not expensive!) and they have friendly and thoughtful staff. That said, noise levels can get a bit loud, probably because the hotel only has three floors and you can hear people walking by. We’d suggest avoiding rooms too close to the street if you're a light sleeper.
